Abstract

Purpose: Clinical nurses play an important role in guiding the practice of new nurses and nursing students. Therefore, it is necessary to study the difficulties and the environmental aspects faced by nurses during the clinical education for the quality improvement of clinical education.
Methods: Focus group interview was conducted with 15 clinical nurses and analyzed according to the qualitative content analysis method of Elo and Kyng?s.
Results: Five themes were identified; 'Lack of education competency and teaching efficacy as a clinical nurse educator', 'environment that cannot educate enough', 'lack of proper guidelines for education', 'no manpower dedicated to clinical nursing education', ' Lack of mutual exchange between university and clinical practice
Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the education environment for nursing education.
